 Artists?  Please put your watermark or name and web address on everything so we don’t have this problem?  It isn’t always enough but it’s a start. It can be your random act of kindness for the day!  If you can’t find the artist’s name, then either ask for help when you post it, or maybe just refrain from posting.Īs an artist, I can’t tell you how much this means to me. If you can, go back to your uncredited source and give them the name of the artist. It may take a little time to find the artists name and website, but with a little persistence it can usually be done.

Just because you don’t know who created it does not mean it’s free to use.

It didn’t have credit when you found it, so that’s okay right? Wrong. They might have lots more great art to show you. If you like their work, take a few moments to find their name and maybe their website. You can be the hero that helps that artist get a following.

Every time you post without attribution, that piece of art is going to be reposted again and again without credit.

I’d like to remind you that it is incredibly irresponsible to repost pictures of art that you love without crediting the artist? What do you do for a living? Do you do it for free or would you like it to be valued? This con cosplay gets 4.1 out of 5 thumbs up for engaged cosplayers, amazing photographers and costuming that engages all the senses.Last Saturday my husband and I attended a wonderful performance of Around the World in 80 Days, based on the book by Jules Verne at the Village Theater in Everett. All photographs in the two WSCC cosplay galleries are courtesy of David Ngo’s talent and generosity. Talented photographer David Ngo ( was hot last weekend, killing it with choreographed snaps placed perfectly amidst fellow con-goers, con floor spots and intense foliage and fauna found around WSCC. Seattle is the perfect setting for cosplay and comic con fun! Green, lush and perfect weather (even tho it can get a little wet) are great partners to have when shooting gorgeous pics, especially around the convention center. This beautiful venue held a 4 day convention managed by Reed Pop, the company that brings you New York Comic Con, C2E2 and so many other fantastic comic and cosplay events across the world, check out their planned cons! Emerald City Comic Con was held in t he Washington State Convention Center (WSCC) 7-10 April 2016.
