This may be patched at a later date, but it’s worth noting at launch as you won’t be able to play with your friends on your Xbox or PlayStation. However, you cannot add players to the party from other platforms.

However, even if the developer integrates different arena shapes or adds elements such as ramps and environment-specific hazards to limit them to unranked modes, they still provide different things for these maps. This isn’t necessarily a problem - the Rocket League had only one map from the beginning. However, the catch is that the arena only determines the background element of the stage and does not affect the playable area that remains one large oval wherever it ends up.

It provides a great risk-to-reward formula where you can play it safely by guaranteeing points in one lap or risk losing to make all of your progress bigger. One lap is equivalent to 1 point, 2 laps is equivalent to 3 points, and 3 laps is equivalent to 5, and the match ends immediately upon achievement. When the opposing team gets the ball, the lap progress is reset and returns to Square 1. Half-roller derby, half-basketball, the basic point is that the team needs to win and keep the ball, go around the arena, throw the ball into the ring and get 5 points. Roller Champions is a 3 to 3 team-based sport. It was a nice surprise, but unfortunately it didn’t look good.
